6th grade through 12th grade
The youth group at Westview is young but growing. They are focused on developing familiarity with the Bible and interpreting the scripture to relate to their lives. We are currently in a study called "Back to Sunday School" where we will be revisiting the children's stories we all remember from the Bible (the Creation, Noah's Ark, Daniel in the Lion's Den, etc.), but now looking at them through a more mature lens. We remember these stories as cute and fun with songs from our childhood, but these are great stories from the Bible that we learn early because there is much more value to them than simply the degree to which they entertain us as children.
