Westview Calendar

Every week at different times, the men and women of Westview meet for coffee at the church building in the fellowship hall. The men meet on Tuesdays and the women meet on Wednesdays. If you have not joined them before, it is a great time for casual fellowship to enjoy the company of fellow believers!

The women are invited to come together this week for a time of prayer and meditation with our Ladies Prayer Group. This week, we will be meeting at the home of Margy Lininger. If you would like to be a part of this group, please contact the church leadership who can provide you with the address.

Every Tuesday evening, the song leaders meet to practice and prepare for worship on Sunday and we are inviting anyone willing to join us! The purpose is to bring in the congregation for this time of learning and worship. We ask that you are there primarily to observe and sing with us as we go through the music and discuss parts and arrangements. The music is available for participants through the website so it is recommended you bring a tablet or laptop if you would like a screen larger than your phone.

The new discovery group for families with school age or younger children will be meeting on July 5th in the Fellowship Hall and will have pizza and a salad buffet! We are going to be discussing Proverbs chapter 2 and will enjoy a time of fellowship together. We will have burgers and hot dogs at a cookout for the entire congregation at the west shelter at Bittersweet Park. We will send out an email this week for people to sign up for some specific items. For the general food items, everyone on the English side is asked to bring side dishes and dessert, and everyone on the Hispanic side is asked to bring chips and dessert. We encourage you to invite guests to join us for this time of fellowship and fun together!

The Band of Brothers ministry will hold a weekend “boot camp” this September in Westcliffe. It is a weekend designed to encourage men to grow spiritually, strengthening their faith and becoming better equipped as men of God.
